About this stay

Fire up your own outdoor sauna to 100°C, cool down in a private Japanese garden, and end the day with a movie on the tatami. A freshly renovated house that sleeps eight, four minutes from Dobutsuen-mae Station — Shinsekai, Tsutenkaku Tower, Spa World and the zoo are all a short walk, and Namba is ten minutes away. The whole house is yours, with no shared spaces. Level 1: a spacious entrance, full kitchen and dining, a tatami lounge with projector (two double futons), bathroom, toilet, the garden with its outdoor sauna, and a washing machine. Level 2: two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Group-ready extras include a takoyaki hot plate, rice cooker and free pocket Wi-Fi. The neighbourhood is lively, authentic local Osaka — izakayas and markets right outside the door, with Tennoji Park and Shinsekai within easy walking distance.

Good to know before you stay

• By local ordinance we collect ID after booking (passport for non-residents of Japan)
• Early check-in is possible only if there is no booking the night before
• We cannot store luggage after checkout — coin lockers are available at the station
