About this stay
Step outside into deep snow. Yuzawa is known for some of the best snow on Japan's main island, and the Hatsukaishi #2 lift of the Ishiuchi Maruyama ski resort is a one-minute walk away. From the top, a gondola links to GALA Yuzawa so you can ride several lifts without coming down. House A (up to 12) and House B (up to 14) stand side by side. Each has three bedrooms, a living room, a dining area, a full kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub. Futons in the tatami rooms, beds in the western rooms. Book both for groups of up to 26. The neighbourhood is quiet, with a few restaurants either side of the lift and many more mountain restaurants once you ride up.

Good to know before you stay
- No parking beside the house in winter. Please use the lift parking (Hatsukaishi #2 lot or Hattori Rental), a 1–2 minute walk. Send us the receipt and we refund the parking fee
- A rental car is recommended (winter tyres are essential). In car navigation and map apps, search for the neighbouring “Azami-tei”
- Please ask before booking if you want to bring a pet
- Out of respect for the neighbours, keep quiet inside and outside after 21:00
- No smoking indoors (a ¥100,000 cleaning fee applies)
- By local ordinance we collect ID for every guest after booking (passport for non-residents of Japan)

House A sleeps up to 12 and House B up to 14 — up to 26 across both. Choose each house separately on the booking page.
How do I get there from the station?
The nearest station is Echigo-Yuzawa on the Joetsu Shinkansen. We recommend a rental car or taxi — tell the driver “Azami-tei”, the well-known place next door.
Is there parking?
In winter you cannot park beside the house. Use the lift parking (Hatsukaishi #2 lot or Hattori Rental), a 1–2 minute walk. Send us the receipt and we refund the fee, so parking is effectively free.
Can I cancel?
Once confirmed, bookings cannot be cancelled on the site. Please contact ICON HOTEL directly. Whole-house stays are free to cancel until 14 days before check-in.
