ICON HOTEL — Terms for the AI assistant service

1. The service and your agreement

The service at https://iconhotel.jp/mcp (and the same functions as a REST API under the /agent/v1/ path) lets AI assistants search ICON HOTEL properties, get price quotes and create links to our official booking page. It is free and read-only. By using the service, directly or through an AI assistant, you agree to these terms.

2. No booking or payment through the service

The service does not create, hold, change or cancel bookings and does not take payments. A booking contract is formed only when you apply on our official booking page and the booking is confirmed there with successful payment. That contract is governed by the booking page, our cancellation policy (https://iconhotel.jp/legal/cancellation) and our notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act (https://iconhotel.jp/legal/tokushoho).

3. Prices

A quote uses the same calculation as our booking page at the time of the request and shows the total for the stay that you would pay on the booking page, including the room rate, the cleaning fee and the taxes and charges that the booking page requires (tax-inclusive). Any discount shown (for example the 10% book-direct discount) applies only on our official booking page under the conditions shown there. Whether a local accommodation tax is included or paid separately follows the booking page and the property's guidance. A quote does not reserve the stay. Prices and availability can change until payment. If a quote and the booking page differ, the booking page applies.

4. Information

Property information comes from ICON HOTEL's own records. Summaries or wording created by an AI assistant are not made by us. We correct mistakes when we find them. Please tell us at https://iconhotel.jp/contact.

5. Prohibited use

Do not copy our catalogue in bulk, resell our inventory, overload the service, try to get around our request limits, or use the service for anything unlawful. We limit request rates and may block abusive traffic.

6. Privacy

7. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or end the service, for example for maintenance, security, a failure of a provider, or a business decision. Where we can, we will announce it on this page in advance. You may stop using the service at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the change is in the general interest of users, or when it is reasonable in light of the purpose of these terms. We will announce the changed terms, the fact of the change and its effective date on this page at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Changes that only benefit users or are minor may take effect on the day they are announced.

9. Liability

If you suffer damage because of our intentional act or negligence, we are liable as required by law.

10. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted by law, the Osaka District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
